In this course, a single student works with a single instructor for the duration of the semester. The curriculum is
larger created by the student. I worked with this student on the following issues:
• Developing a consistent body of work and putting together a Senior Portfolio for graduation.
• This student was alternating between more abstract, textural, uncontrolled works and highly rendered
figurative work. Over the course of the semester, the student and I developed a plan to slowly merge the two
ways of working.
